Featured photo – country girl
In my last post, I featured a photo of a three-legged dog and mentioned another dog that he was playing with the day I photographed him. Today’s photo features his playmate, who I have nick named Country Girl. She is a beautiful girl, although her pretty face and petite frame belie her tomboy spirit.
In addition to rough-housing in the dirt with her three-legged buddy, she was tearing up her pink stuffy toy, seen here dangling from her mouth (with bits of it all around the ground beneath her). This was the only time I’ve ever seen her, despite visiting this location multiple times prior to and since the day of this photo. I am sure she lives there or nearby as it was obvious from their interaction that the two dogs are close buddies.
Luckily, this house is just around the corner from me, and now another stop on my dog-photo-hunting trail. I’m hoping to get a photo of the two dogs together one day.
Great shot! Lola’s stuffed toys usually look like that about thirty seconds after I’ve given them to her.
