The Detroit Dog Show is held every spring in Detroit's Cobo Center, and I'm there every year with my camera. What a great event for a dog photographer!
These candid shots were taken spontaneously as I encountered each dog. These photos are frequently taken from a distance with a very long lens, but sometimes I'm lucky enough to get a close-up. Many of these dogs live near me and I photograph them on a regular basis.
I love capturing dogs going about their daily lives, which often includes going for car rides with their people. I always have my camera with me when I'm out and about so that I never miss one of these canine Kodak moments.
